Welcome! I’m Kerry Harvey, the creative director behind my award winning brand, Kerry Harvey Designs. I’m thrilled you took the time to come visit and have a browse around!
I’ve been working within the wedding industry in design and beauty since 2009. In 2015, I decided to take a leap of faith and introduce my own unique take with my wedding stationery collections. I recently decided to add to this and share my expertise and knowledge of all things beauty with you also!
A little background on me – in 2006, my love of creating paid off and I was delighted to gain a 1:1 Hons degree in my beloved area of design. I’d my first taste of the spotlight when I was chosen to display my wears at the New Designers Exhibition in London that same summer. To add to my creative skills and my second love of makeup and beauty, in 2009 I studied full time with LA Makeup Academy in Dublin, (now LA College of Creative Arts) whilst shadowing some of Irelands top MUA’s in fashion, television and photographic makeup. And so it began….
I’ve since had some fantastic opportunities, such as designing exclusive collections, two of which featured in Irish Brides Magazine in 2015, travelling abroad to cater to exclusive bridal clients, photoshoots with some of Irelands top names in media in TV3, RTE, 2FM, Today FM whilst beautifying the faces of hundreds of brides from near and far. In 2013, I was over the moon to receive an award for ‘New comer of the Year’ with the prestigious national wedding industry Weddings Online Awards and then again, in 2016 as ‘Stationery Designer of the Year’ whilst also coming in Top 10 in ‘Makeup Artist of the Year’ which I was so thrilled and proud to be recognised for.
So please feel free to come follow me on my journey – from new designs each season to beauty tips and tricks, there’s something here for brides and lover’s of all things girlie, elegant, pretty and creative with my personal touch K x
