Welcome!!! I’m Kerry – the Donegal-born gal, now living in Dublin – the one with the dark hair in the image above!
A wee bit about me – From 2009 to 2018, I worked full-time in bridal and editorial makeup artistry. I picked up a few lovely wedding industry awards along the way, met some fabulous people and stayed in some gorgeous places around the world! Recently, I decided to change lanes and slow it all down…so I moved from Donegal to Dublin (yep a walking contradiction) to work in cosmetics buying for Penneys. In my spare time, I do a little bit of blogging here and still work with beautiful brides and their bridal parties on Saturdays – Normally in Donegal or Dublin.
I’ve worked in the beauty industry for so long and often heard girls around my own age tell me how they love makeup, but can’t follow the Youtube/Instagram styles that are in our faces daily. They feel it’s too young or too harsh for them. It takes too much time and is expensive to have all these products or wonder do they really need all those bits for their makeup bags! I get it! I’m now in my mid-thirties, and although I find it all mesmerizing to watch, I understand this feeling entirely! Here, I share with you my tips and tricks on how to create looks, easily and affordably, that will have you feel and look fantastic – whether it’s simply how to hide your dark circles, apply lashes or create a minimal to a super glam look, feel free to browse through my blog where there’s a mix of articles and videos from myself, sharing my skill and experience (and probably the odd personal view 🙂 Although I use a mix of gorgeous well-known products from my kit, such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, to Clarins, Estee Lauder etc, I also love using chemist bought products, and yes, you’ll see me create fabulous looks using all PS products (fun part of my job), so you’ll get a nice mix. Be sure to follow my Instagram where I tend to share posts more frequently – smaller tips and looks plus you’ll see some of the mini-tutorials I do occasionally for Penneys! PS…theyre products are great and well worth popping into your baskets!
Just to note, I’m not affiliated with any brand but will outline what products are used for your own knowledge. I’m simply here to share my skills and experience as a makeup artist and give you some inspiration and guidance 🙂
